A brief explanation of how braces treatment is done in the clinic.
Today we gonna talk about braces. We 3 types of braces
Traditional braces
Traditional braces are metal brackets that are fixed to the front surface of the teeth. A wire is threaded through each bracket and tightened at various intervals throughout the treatment.
Self-ligating braces
Self-ligating braces use a built-in system to secure the archwire to the brackets. You may also hear this system referred to as self-ligating brackets.
Clear aligners like Invisalign.
Clear aligners, also called invisible aligners, fix misaligned teeth and bites. They are a virtually invisible and removable alternative to braces designed around convenience and flexibility.
1) First you come to the clinic and we will take a record, a photo of the front and side just to get a pre-treatment record.
2) Plan a date for when we stick a bracket depending on your tooth depend on which type of braces you wanted.
3) Meet around every month or every month of the half for review and change the rubber or wire if required
If you feel unhappy about the alignment of your teeth with our feel have spacing between your teeth or your teeth are a bit crowded and rotated the way that you don’t like. You definitely can come to the consultation for braces.
You can get your braces treatment as early as when you are a teenager. When all your permanent teeth have erupted in your mouth.
